The queen of GOOP took quite the fashion risk at this year's Oscars. She wore a white draped gown complete with a dramatic cape. Bold sparkling jewelry added shine to the look. A sleek 'do was just the right dramatic touch.

The Golden Globe 2012...my best.

I'm not a big fun of super dressy gowns but of course chosing a dress for the Golden Globes shouldn't be that hard of a work...

Emma Stone stole the show in a surprisingly sexy burgundy Lanvin gown with an eagle-embellished belt.

Lea Michele turned on the shine in a silver gown with a daring peek-a-boo bodice and a sequined skirt. The queen of the red carpet pose accessorized the look with a bold green cocktail ring and dramatic smoky eye makeup.

Julie Bowen...like a princess.

Jessica Alba was skin-sparkling in a greige beaded Gucci gown accessorized with Bulgari jewels and Roger Vivier clutch.

Sarah Hyland, The 21-year-old actress wore a lovely vintage Dolce & Gabbana gown with Casadei heels. She completed her look with Lorraine Schwartz jewels and a “Milady” clutch with a bow clasp by Swarovski.

And Nicole Richie. Her upcoming show is called Fashion Star, and Nicole is exactly that, mixing modern and retro in a Julien Macdonald beaded silver halter column paired with Neil Lane jewels, a House of Harlow 1960 clutch, Jimmy Choo shoes and eyebrow-skimming bangs.

I have mixes feeling about this outfit cause It looks like a beach look but I do love the jewlery.

Hello girls (and boys:)... today I feel good, it's the beginning of Christmas week... I will leave Nyc to go back "home" for Christmas and well... the guy I broke up with kinda seems like less worthed that used to be in my mind.. but we'll see. I wish you all a wonderful Christmas time...

All that glitters: even more on Cannes Film Festival 2011

No more red carpets from Cannes this year. The film festival closed its doors on Sunday giving us more "celebrities in stunning gala gowns" pics. Writer-director Terence Malick' " The Tree of Life", his ambitious and long-anticipated examination of what it all means, won the Palme d'Or on Sunday night, while Kirsten Dunst won best actress for Lars von Trier's "Melancholia", even though the director had been declared persona non grata by the festival for claiming to be a Nazi at a press conference.
