Hi all...summer is finally here in Ny and when I think about summer I think (among many other things) about the perfect tan.
Every season "color trends" come and go, summer 2011 comes with coral, turquoise, white...but for me, the one color that always enchant a good tan is a bluish purple (white, blue and gold are not bad too though)...I love the shade of violet and I love that even though is a color-color it works like a basic black...here some inspirational palette.

He had a half-dozen red roses delivered 3 times a week to her crypt for 20 years and no one new that. Unlike her other two husbands or others who knew her, he refused to talk about her publicly or otherwise exploit their relationship. He never married again.

All that glitters: even more on Cannes Film Festival 2011

No more red carpets from Cannes this year. The film festival closed its doors on Sunday giving us more  "celebrities in stunning gala gowns" pics. Writer-director Terence Malick' " The Tree of Life", his ambitious and long-anticipated examination of what it all means, won the Palme d'Or on Sunday night, while Kirsten Dunst won best actress for Lars von Trier's "Melancholia", even though the director had been declared persona non grata by the festival for claiming to be a Nazi at a press conference.

Yesterday I was talking with my soon-to-be new hairstylist and she told me that the two-tone look is already out, nevertheless I still like it and I'll go for it again (going to the hairstylist with this pics). I always thought Lily Aldridge's ombre waves look amazing, don't you think so?
