Love this girl: Dasha Zhukova

I definitely have a thing for big eyed shiny hair smart strong girls. Darya Dasha Zhukova ( born on June the 8th 1981) the Russian philanthropist, entrepreneur, model, fashion designer  and magazine editor is one of them.

Little is known about the very, very private polished jet-setter.Charming, elegant and discreet, until two years ago, she was virtually unknown.

Like many other Russian rich girls based in London, Dasha co-founded  a clothing line, with an old friend, Kova & T. She maintains a role in the creative direction of the company, which recently announced a collaboration with Urban Outfitters. 


She then got engaged to Roman Abramovich and she he opened the Center for Contemporary Culture in Moscow, more familiarly known as The Garage. Suddenly, Dasha  was everywhere, from gallery openings to cool parties and fashion shows showing her signature understated style.

In February 2009, Dasha was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the iconic fashion magazine Pop. She resigned from that position less than two years later in November 2010.

Her effortlessly cool style  demonstrates a master class in modern dressing, mixing high-end designer pieces and cool party clothes with aplomb.

Nonchalant and graceful and tousled all at the same time, she wears skirts almost all the time, her make up is minimal and so it her hair, often nonchalantly pulled up or  down in loose waves.
